IberCup is currently one of the most important World Youth Football Tournaments in the world. Since the first edition, more than 100 countries have been represented in our competitions. Participants can be between 6 and 18 years old, divided between male and female competition, distributed in several categories.
Every year, around 50,000 players participate in a super competitive week, with fantastic experiences and a unique opportunity to face teams from all continents.
IberCup creates the possibility of several interactions, both on and off the field, and this makes IberCup recognized as the most international youth competition in the world.

In the Qualifiers World Final, Elite and IberCup World Final tournaments, participants will face the best football academies in the world, such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, Manchester City, Arsenal FC, Manchester United, Liverpool , Paris St Germain, O. Lyon, Inter Milan, Juventus, Werder Bremen, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica, FC Porto, Sporting CP, Grêmio, Corinthians, Palmeiras, Flamengo, River Plate or Yokohama Marinos, who have already participated in previous editions.
Holiday Tournaments are teams that combine an excellent football competition with a week of holidays, tourism and multicultural experiences of the highest quality. All the while competing against teams from all over the world. The proximity to the sea and the excellent climate that we have during this period allows all participants to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the coast after their football matches.
IberCup will be played following FIFA’s football rules. If the maximum enrollment of teams is reached before the deadline for registrations, registrations will close before the scheduled date. After you submit your application which will be evaluated by our organization, we will decide if your application is accepted. Team`s participation only is assured after all payments confirmed. Note that in previous editions the tournament has not been able to accept all teams that wished to enter. If you wish to sign up your team, please go here.
Who May Participate
All clubs, which are members of their FIFA affiliated national associations, are welcome to participate in the IberCup. The club has to be a member of their FIFA affiliated national association. In countries where football is operated by the schools we also allow teams affiliated by their school football association.
Number of Teams in the Tournament
It is our aim that all teams that wish to participate in IberCup, have the opportunity to do so. Please note that during the past few years the tournament has not been able to accept all teams that wished to participate. Teams that make payments first will have priority. The team is only officially enrolled after a first initial payment. In addition, most hotels are completed 6 months before the start of the competition but we can still host around 6000 people for our tournament but don't take too long to make your decision, the accommodation options sell out quickly. A club can automatically register a maximum of two (2) teams in each age category (more than two must first be approved by the organization)
The tournament starts with the group stage. The teams will be distributed in groups of four or five teams each, where they play each other in a championship system with one lap. The classification will be determined according to the points. Win 3 points, draw 1 point, lose 0 points. The top two teams in each group advance to the Playoff Gold. The other teams in the group play the Silver Playoff or Bronze Playoff. Playoff games are played by direct elimination and in the event of a tie they will be decided by penalties in accordance with FIFA regulations. In some categories there may be a Super Group phase after the first group phase. All players must be insured, both for games and leisure. The teams must arrive at the tournament at least one day before the competition starts
Hotel Accommodation: Check your accommodation dates with our reservations department. The meal regime will be determined according to the chosen package and may be between half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board. Breakfast and dinner will be served at the hotel and lunch if you have hired this service will be served in the center of the complex. Arrival with dinner included, departure with breakfast included. IberPass and the accommodation fee are included in the cost.
Without Accommodation: Only for local teams. All participants in this category (up to 60 kilometers from the competition area) pay a participant fee that includes IberPass. There are a limited number of teams that are accepted in this category. This category is normally sold out 7 months before the tournament starts.
- July 27, 2020: Online registration form for next year’s tournament opens. When we receive your deposit fee we confirm your place in IberCup.
- June 12, 2021: Final date for registrations. If the maximum enrollment of teams is reached before that date, registrations will close before the scheduled date.
- 90 days before the tournament 70% of the accommodation fee/participation fee for all participants with or without accommodation must be paid.
- 45 days before the tournament Full payment of all services. Both leaders and players pay this fee. You can cancel players until 90 days before the tournament, after that a doctors certificate is required.
- 30 days before the tournament: Final date to send the players list. After this date we will charge extra R$ 30,00 per player.
- 30 days before the tournament: Final date to send the rooming list. After this date we will charge extra R$ 60,00 per person.
- 10 days before the tournament: Match schedule is posted.
